Meet Li Wang

Li has been teaching yoga for 10 years and her approach is to instruct classes in a caring and encouraging fashion so that all levels of practitioners may benefit from the yoga practice. Having grown up in China she appreciates the slower pace here in Newfoundland, where she and her son have made a home.

Li has completed yoga teacher training in India, the USA and Canada as well as having studied traditional Thai massage. In China, Li worked in international trading, and editing/journalism after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Her goals these days include being able to do Forearm Balance away from the wall and keeping herself healthy so she can continue enjoying life with the people she loves. At the same time… she would love to try bungee jumping!
