Kickboxing Class Descriptions

Youth Kickboxing (Ages 10-15)

A kickboxing program geared towards youth interested in combat sports. Students are safely and incrementally introduced to the movement, techniques, and strategies unique to kickboxing. While emphasis is placed on physical conditioning and structured skill development, opportunities for competition are available according to desire and ability. In addition, the crucial mental elements of respect, sportsmanship, and self-confidence are instilled as necessary ingredients towards success.

Women’s Kickboxing (Ages 16+)

A female-only class like no other. Strengthen and condition your entire body, increase flexibility and balance, all the while learning a fun and exciting new sport. Emphasis is on improving fitness through skipping and plyometrics and building confidence through mastering kickboxing skills, rather than sparring and competition. However, be ready to hit the focus mitts, work the speed bag, and blast our heavy bags as this is far from your usual aerobics style class. Punching exercises for the upper body, kicking exercises for the lower body, and a generous core conditioning system will have you feeling great in no time! Bring a friend, and prepare to work.

Co-ed Kickboxing (Ages 16+)

Our Adult Co-ed program teaches students the fundamentals of movement, punching, and kicking techniques with a generous helping of strength and conditioning training thrown in for good measure. Through our program, students will improve their strength, speed, endurance, and flexibility while developing the skills crucial for life in and out of the ring. At the end of select classes, those students who have shown an interest in, or the ability to, will test their abilities with sparring rounds.
